Undergraduate Admissions, 2017 at IIEST, Shibpur

Eligibility

For the academic session 2017-18, admission to the 4-year full time B. Tech degree and 5 year B. Arch courses will be done through JEE (Main)- 2017- Paper I (for Engineering) and Paper II (for Architecture), examination conducted by the JEE Apex Board, under CBSE, MHRD, GOI, for Admission to Undergraduate (B. Tech) Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Central Government funded Technical Institutions.

Admission Procedure

Each eligible candidate shall be required to appear and to qualify at a written test (JEE Main 2017) conducted by the CBSE. However, this is not mandatory for the foreign students.
Candidates who reach qualifying standard at the written test will be offered admission by Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JoSAA in order of merit through online choice filling and multiple rounds of allocations.
The selected candidates will have to report to the resource centers for verification of the credentials and pay their fees on the dates mentioned in the JoSAA brochure for admission.
