Post Graduate Examinations at Delhi University
Delhi University Post Gradaute examinations Mode Announcement :
Delhi University has been in a lot of buzz these days due to the ongoing admission procedures, CBSE moderation policy, time and way of conducting the exams. It is currently admission time for M.Phil, Ph.D., Undergraduate, and Post Graduate programs in Delhi University. The application forms for admission are going to come out from 31st May 2017. However, there has been quite a hustle about the entrance exam from a long time.
It was earlier this month when Delhi University declared that they would conduct entrance exams through online mode. But, Delhi University Students Union and ABVP students criticized this decision of the administration and did a protest as applicants applying from the rural background are not computer friendly which will then be unfair on their part.
In the first standing committee meeting held on 19th may said that Delhi University would be conducting both Online and Offline entrance this time. It depends on the interest of the students which mode they want to use for the commencement of the examination.
However, in the second standing committee meeting held on Saturday, a decision was made that the entrance for M.Phil, Ph.D., and Post Graduate programs would only be conducted in offline mode. The decision is held because conducting an exam in both online and offline format will not be feasible to the authorities.
Therefore, the final decision has been taken and now there are no online entrance exams for M.Phil, Ph.D. and Post Graduate programs this year. For M.Phil, Ph.D. and Post Graduate programs the entrance exams would take place only in offline mode for this year. This is so far the final decision of the Delhi University’s standing commission for admission. However, no changes have been in the procedure of conducting the Undergraduate programs so far in Delhi University.
