Structure For Delhi University Entrance Exam (JAT 2017) Under Graduate Courses

Delhi University has released the dates and list for UG entrance based, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses for admission under the session 2017- 2018. Delhi university has decided to conduct entrance exams of admissions in 2017 for nine undergraduate programs for nearly 1600 seats.

It is important for the students applying for the courses in Delhi University to keep in consideration several factors like admission criteria (merit based/entrance based), availability of seats, placement trends and expected cutoffs and placement trends.

DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

1. Candidates should have passed his/her senior secondary schooling from a recognized board like CBSE or board equivalent by the University of Delhi.

2. Candidates who have appeared in their final terms and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

3. Applicants must have a minimum of 60% in the qualification examination.

4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category requires minimum 50%, and CW/PWD category candidates require 54%, at senior secondary level.

5. It must also be noted that the DU JAT acceptance may vary from college to college.

 

The DU JAT Exam 2017 will be objective based, across all the entrance based courses. As some of the courses are inculcated recently which are practically based. The university will be releasing their guidelines soon.
