Delhi University, Delhi School Of Journalism with a Course On Cyber Security

Admissions at Delhi University for the year 2017 has begun. It has been time and again that the University has introduced new courses based on the changing interests of the student and changing the trend in the education system as well. Delhi University has been the attraction throughout the nation because of its wide variety of courses and the malleable environment it offers to the students across the nation.

Procedure for Journalism course in Delhi University

Delhi University is likely to begin the much talked about Delhi School of Journalism from this year which will offer a five-year integrated degree in Journalism and the admission procedure will begin for the newly introduced courses under the 2017 admissions itself. The admission to this program would be based on merit. The university is also planning to start a Post Graduate Diploma course in Cyber Law & Security from the year 2017 itself.

The university’s standing committee on academic affairs approved proposals to start the Journalism school, another School of Transnational Affairs and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Security. The proposal will now be placed at the Academic Council for final approval.

Syllabus Of Cyber Security Course and Journalism in Delhi University

Students will be taught discipline-specific and elective courses. There will be a paper on data and investigative journalism along with papers on media and psychology, media and history, editing, writing, and documentary making.

There will be four foreign language options –Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and French. There will be two regional languages as well –Tamil and Bengali. Students will have to learn one foreign and one regional language.

Students will have the option to exit the five-year course after three years with an undergraduate degree. We will keep updating you with information on any of the newly introduced courses. Therefore, stay tuned.
