Q1. Tell us something about yourself.

I’ve done BCA from Maharaja Surajmal Institute, New Delhi and Masters in Computer Applications from IITM, Janakpuri, New Delhi. I stay in Naraina Vihar, New Delhi.

I was working in a Multinational Company as software developer. Soon, I got to know about Mr. India, as I was always very passionate about modelling so, I prepared for Mr. India for 6 months. I got selected as top 30 of Delhi and subsequently got selected in top 16 people from all over India, as a finalist. It was then, when I won the title of Mr. India. Just after a week of winning the title, I gave auditions for MTV Roadies X5 and the rest is history!

Q2. What did you aspire to become since childhood? When did you embark upon your modelling career?

I wanted to be a model and wanted to do something into fitness. I never told this to anyone as I was very skinny kid. I was working and was not satisfied and happy with the work I was doing. So I decided to make a move and took part in Mr. India Contest.

Q3. How do you describe the shift in your career- good or bad? From pageants to being a Roadie? How has your experience been at Roadies?

I really don’t know about the shift because this is a very big risk I’ve taken. I did what my heart always wanted to, so, there is that satisfaction within. Being a part of Roadies was a dream for me, ever since I was 15 years old. I have been following the show since then. I am just following my heart and all these blessings are raining into my way. I feel, it is the positivity within me which encourages me to do what my heart wants.

Q4. Being a Master degree holder in Computers, did you ever work for any software company? What motivated you to make a move towards Roadies?

Yes, I worked in software company as a developer. I just followed my passion and my heart, was never of the consequences that I might have to face. I chose to chase my dreams rather than follow the monotony. To go with one’s desire is what gives your pleasure and motivation. It makes your work easier and you would love your work.

Q5. What are your plans for future, joining the entertainment media, joining Software Industry or to go further with pageants?

After getting fame everybody wants to be an actor or a hero. It isn’t the case with me, I just want satisfaction in whatever I do. I would prefer doing what my heart says. Currently I am opening my own gym. Opening my own gym has always been in my dream list. So again, it is the case where I am chasing my dream and fulfilling them. The opening date is also finalised and it is September 1, 2017.

Q6. Who do you think has helped you the most and has always believed in you?

According to me, nobody helps you. it is just you and your hard work. I read motivational books and tried being the hardest worker in the room. I worked hard in the dark and achieved everything I wanted. As we say, “God helps those who help themselves!”, so I helped myself.

Q7. Any messages for the youngsters who aspire to be like you someday?

Don’t waste your time in doing things you don’t want to do. Open up, try to know yourself, ask yourself what do you want in your life. If you really work hard for it, you will definitely get there one day. Have faith in yourself! Be fearless!! Keep following your passion and start working on your dreams, cause dreams – Yes, they do come true!
