She has played role in a short film “Naagmani” when she was merely 6 years old. Vidushi is also a classical singer who has won  uncountable awards and certificates in her field. Let’s know about her journey so far and what does the young girl wants to achieve in her life:

  1. When did you start performing on the stage and how did it all start?

I started performing on the stage when I was 4 years old. It all started from my school. My first performance was in Ganpati Utsav organised by Matri Welfare Educational Society. I also worked as a child artist in telefilm “Naagmani” when I was 7. At the age of 5, I performed in Bhagidaari programme in front of our former Chief Minister Smt. Sheela Dixit.

  1. Where did you get your inspiration from which kept you going?

Perhaps it was God gifted. I never felt any kind of hesitation while performing on the stage. But I got my inspiration from my family, my teachers who supported me in every situation to do better.

  1. How did you get inspired for classical music?

I got inspired by my music teacher Sh. Toshar Kant Rajan Ji to pursue classical music. I love to sing classical, that is something which comes from my heart.

  1. Who is your role model in the field, someone you look upto?

My role model in the field is not a single personality. I got inspired by the singing of Lata Mangeshkar Ji, Master Saleem, Wadali Brothers, Nooran Sisters and many more. I am also very much inspired by the hardwork Virat Kohli puts in for our country which motivates to work hard.

  1. Who supports you and encourages you the most in the choice of your career?

My parents and  my teachers supported me to do whatever I want. Actually when I was 1 year old and my mother used to work in kitchen, she used to put me on the bed in front of television and I used to listen the songs with so much concentration. After that my father used to ask me what do you want to become? I said “singer”. So, after that everyone supported me to become a singer.

  1. Tell us about your educational background. Which school do you go to and tell us about the degree you are pursuing?

I am in 12th class and from Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Rani Bagh. I am also doing a degree course in music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and I want to opt for singing as my profession.

  1. What is your daily routine? How do you manage your time for practice?

After coming back from school and after taking some rest, I do riyaaz for 3 hours. Actually if you want to do something you love, you will be able to manage your routine easily. So it is not difficult for me to manage my routine and do riyaaz.

  1. What all problems did you face in your journey so far?

I din’t face any problems in my journey. I am lucky that I get a lot of supporting people in my life. My family members and my teachers have supported me a lot through this journey.

  1. What advice would you give to young children who just started out in the field so that they can excel?

Nothing is impossible if you want to do it whole-heartedly. Don’t care about what people say, do whatever you want to do.  And don’t forget to do hardwork as it is very important to succeed in every field. Do everything with patience and good results will definitely come.

  1. Where do you see yourself in the next five years? What do you want to accomplish in future?

I want to become a playback singer. I want to record a lot of songs and want to do a lot of stage shows. I also want to become a motivational speaker to motivate the ones who are losing hopes. I think that I am capable of doing that.
