Jagriti Jha is a law student. She was seen as a googly contestant by Harbhajan Singh in MTV Roadies Rising X5.
Jagriti Jha hails from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India and then went to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has done her schooling from Bal Bharti Public School, New Delhi, India and college studies from Indian Law Society’s Law College, Pune. Jagriti Jha has also worked as an Intern in MDP & Partners, Advocates & Solicitors and Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.

1. Jagriti, how was your journey in Roadies Rising X5.
My journey in Roadies Rising was really bumpy but made me learn a lot of things about myself. I am glad I went for an experience like that. After all, if you don’t take the chance you never gain what you could have. One should always give it a try!
2. You are doing your law from Pune and Internship at Supreme court, Delhi. What inspired a lawyer to become a Roadies’ contestant?
I have always wanted to be a Roadie, I associated strength and capability with it. So when I found out they were holding auditions right next to my place I knew I had to give it a shot. There were great people from all areas. Around 8000 people auditioned from my city and among them, there was me who eventually made it to PI. I was a part of top 60 and that was something I wasn’t too sure of.
3. In your PI round of Roadies X5, you were rejected and thereafter you got a chance to be in through wild card. How do you feel about it.
Eventually, I got selected for PI where I got rejected. They misunderstood me and made it seem like something that it wasn’t. This whole process made me learn a lot of things about myself. But nevertheless, it was a great experience. I am very happy to be a part of this show and for now I am going back to law as it will always be my priority.
4. You always say “I am a Badass”. What actually make Jagriti a badass in real life.
What actually makes Jagriti a badass is that she doesn’t mold and bend according to societal or customized norms. I am a very real person and I Am very true to myself. That, in a world like this is very hard to be. Everyone wants validation, so many people are putting up and act to please the world. I care about pleasing myself and only my loved ones.
5.What are the difficulties for a wild card contestant as compared to the one who are in the game from Day 1?
Well, the rest of the contestants had a lot of time to get to know each other. Even before the show started, they were constantly in touch. I had no time to form bonds or connections. I came midway and was automatically a target as they believed I shouldn’t be there since I entered midway. So considering that, and having to also give my best was a tough thing.

6. Tell our readers something about you which they didn’t come to know through Roadies Rising.
Roadies rising could barely project 90 percent of who I am. I have a great passion for dancing and helping people. I have worked in a lot of NGOs and have been through a lot of cultural exchange programs to bring about the change that I can.
