Pooja Banerjee is an Indian television actress. Best known for her role of Rewa Mathur in Channel V India’s Swim Team. Pooja was first seen on the MTV India reality show Roadies Season 8. She has since gone on to act in several Indian TV serials like Crime Patrol and The Adventures of Hatim.

1. Whom do you consider as your role model?
I don’t have any ideals, since childhood I have always kept admiring so many people and I realised that I am more of a momentary person. I plan short term goals and I am extremely spontaneous in my real life hence I do not follow a single person or follow a sole ideology, rather I wake up to be a better person than I was the last night.
2.When was the first time you started acting?
I started acting on 4th of April 2012 professionally, but I have done a lot of plays and dramas as a kid in Hindi, English and Bengali when I was in Nagpur.
3.How was your journey being a part of MTV Roadies Season 8?
I would say that Roadies 8 was the best journey, the best phase of my life and the best thing that could have happened to me. I cherish each and every memory of the show, to be honest it was not a show for me but a beautiful experience. I was just a 20 year old out in the world exploring it thoroughly.
4.How does your family take your success?
My family has been extremely supportive and honestly I am what I am because of them. If they hadn’t supported me I wouldn’t have reached where I am today. They were always there when I had nobody.
5.How do you feel when you perform?
I perform everyday as if I will not get to perform tomorrow and it is true. I just love being in front of camera and enjoy to the fullest in being somebody else and with conviction. I love living so many lives in one.

6.What can you advice to those people who would like to act?
Advice- Act like there is no tomorrow and you are bound to be loved all and will surely get more opportunities to act and showcase your work.
