Lets know more about Suyash , keep reading folks !

Q1: When did you discover an artist in you ?

I was about 6-7 years old when my father just asked me if I wanted to learn any instrument . Being a kid, I said I wanted to learn tabla. And my father bought one for me . I never knew my journey would start from there. No one in my family or relation had any connections with music and so it was something very  obvious for me that I would just  keep it as a hobby , something which can pass my time. Never did I knew that the sound would create so much interest and curiosity in me. So, I started taking my percussion classes and the desire to learn more and more grew and never stopped .

Q2: Who  all were the constant Motivators and Supporters ?

My Guru ji Mr.Bharat Sharma supported me in everything , providing me with opportunities to perform on varied stages and my parents never stopped me from learning. I still remember making noises while practicing  after 12 at night but my parents and my extended family never complained about anything. They wanted to see me grow , but did not want that I should compromise my studies for music. My friends loved listening to me , motivating me to perform without fear. All these factors motivated me to learn more and pursue my passion there on.

Ques3: Where do you see yourself five years down the line ?

I am just going with the flow. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Technology and want to finish my studies first with a good academic profile. I believe studies are also a very important part of one’s life and this is where most of the young generation makes mistakes, where they think that being a graduate and having a degree is a waste of time and their talent. If I get any chance or a bigger platform for music , I will surely go for it. Anyways music will be my lifetime partner. I just want to see myself better than yesterday. Things that were difficult for me years ago are now easier. As I am focusing on my compositions and different ways of playing, maybe after few years of hard work, I will get some serious recognition for my talent .

Ques 4: If given a chance to pursue career in music over Engineering, will you take the chance?

Yes, I would love to take that chance . I would love to make everyone smile with my music as that would make me very happy. If I seriously get a chance for my career in instrumentation I will just go for it . It’s very hard to follow your passion when reality hits you but if you really respect your dreams then never hesitate.

Ques 5: Please inspire our readers with some of your achievements.

I am a graduate in tabla and violin. Apart from that I play guitar, keyboard and other instruments as well. I am keen in learning different instruments and keep on trying new things the new way. I have played with many bands based here in Dehradun . When I just make people smile with my performance and music , it gives me a sense of achievement . Something I just want to do again and again . When someone praises my skills and talent it makes me happy .

Ques 6: Some words for the aspiring singers?

To all the musicians out there just go for your dreams. Don’t limit yourself over anything . Everything is possible if you decide to work hard and practice for it .Always be full of gratitude , stay grounded and make everyone smile. Talent can never be hidden and if you have truly blessed and worked hard for the same, you will achieve great heights and success. Respect all artists and whatever you learn, pass it on to whoever wants to learn . You will learn more by teaching and it will make you respect your art more. If you look closely, you’ll notice the energy of inspiration is all around. From the rising sun to a placid lake on a warm summer night; from our favorite books to our own reflections, the places and things from which we can draw inspiration are infinite. And the best part is that every day is a chance to capture this energy—to seek out all of life’s possibilities.
