He has created history in JEE with his determination ! Meet the wonder boy , Kalpit Veerwal who scored 100 percent in JEE Mains !

100 percentile! You heard it right. Well it’s not a usual class test, but the country’s most prestigious entrance exam to get admitted into the IITs and NITs. Kalpit Veerwal just striked the two letters “im” from impossible. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea. Let’s have a sneak peek into his success.

Let us catch up with Kalpit:

1) Introduce yourself, Kalpit.

Hi!, I am Kalpit Veerwal from Udaipur, Rajasthan. My parents are Mr. Pushkar Veerwal and Mrs. Pushpa Veerwal. My favourite subject is physics. Apart from studies, I also play guitar and enjoy songs of Eminem, Coldplay, EdSheeran and Linkin Park.

2) How long was your preparation for JEE mains ?

I took the exam very seriously and had started it many years back. But I started to prepare for it very rigorously in class 11. I was interested in science and was doing quite well in all exams in my school.

3) How intense was the preparation between mains result and and the advanced exams ?

I was taking my scores normally and was not very excited by it. I took my studies seriously and prepared well for my advanced exams. My parents, made sure that I was not distracted by any ways. I had to take my concepts to advanced level and my teachers helped me in doing that.

 4) Tell us about the perfect 100 percentile you managed to score.

I scored 360 out of 360 in JEE Mains. i.e, 100 percent. I was fully prepared for the exam but there was an inevitable tinge of doubt before the exam. My parents and teachers had motivated me a lot before the exams. I had revised concepts multiple times. I attempted the paper with a steady speed and made sure that I made no mistake.

5) Tell us about the N.T.S.E. and the national junior science olympiad you had topped in previously.

I was the overall state topper in NTSE in Rajasthan. I also made it to orientation cum selection camp of junior science and junior astronomy olympiad in class 10. This really boosted my confidence. I am also a KVPY scholar and I cleared it in class 11.

6) What advice would you like to give to students who appear for JEE exams ?

I would say that there is no replacement for hardwork. Be confident about yourself. Nothing is impossible. What you achieve is determined by the amount of hardwork and dedication you put in. Give your best.
