AIESEC MUMBAI COCO COLA YOUTH SPEAK FORUM 2017 PRESS RELEASE 1 STUDENT STORIES

AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-led network creating positive impact through personal development and
shared global experiences.

THE STORY OF AIESEC :

AIESEC was officially founded in 1948. At the time, the mission was “to expand the understanding of a nation by expanding the understanding of the individuals, changing the world one person at a time.” In 1955, AIESEC expanded into the Middle East region – this was the first non-European presence in AIESEC – and also into Greece. This year AIESEC passed 1,000 international exchange experiences for the first time. After delivering an unprecedented amount of exchanges the network met again to decide upon AIESEC 2015. AIESEC’s membership then co-created its contribution towards the global direction. According to it’s most recent annual report sees AIESEC present in 127 countries and territories. They’ve enabled over 26,000 international placements, coordinated by over 70,000 AIESECers.

An Overview of YouthSpeak Forum :

YouthSpeak Forum is a premier event that brings together young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for impact. Through YouthSpeak, our mission is to turn global insights into opportunities for a real-world impact. It means that we must engage young people and decision makers through cross-sector collaborations. We seek to see progress in classrooms, workplaces and our mindsets on creating a more empowered society for a positive impact.
