It depicts a supposedly blind, haggard old man with threadbare clothing weakly hunched over his guitar on the streets of Barcelona. It is currently owned and on display in the Art Institute of Chicago.During this time, Picasso's work was greatly influenced by the Expressionism movement, which has come about through the merging of Modernism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Symbolism.
