Explore hydraulics and engineering with Build Your Own Mini Scissor Lift.On pushing the piston you will observe that the lift shows upward motion and on pulling the piston you will observe that the lift shows downward motion, and continuous on pulling and pushing.This happens because of the water pressure between the two syringes. When we push the piston of the free syringe which is filled with the water the water from that syringe gets pressure and pushed into another syringe connected with it at the centre. As the water enters into the syringe the pressure is created inside it and the piston of that syringe gets pushed outside. You can notice that the piston of this syringe is connected sticks. Here the sticks act as a scissor. The sticks connected with the piston slides on the slit of the rectangular leg and get opened; as a result the lift goes up. Again on pulling the piston of the free syringe, water from other syringe is suck back and the lift gets down. This is how the scissor lift works. This type of lift can be use to lift the things on or from the bridge. Product SpecificationThe framework is made of Medium Density Fiber (MDF). The parts get cut by a Laser machine. Assemble the parts using Interlocking system i.e. one has to engage its parts with each other by overlapping or by the fitting together of projections and recesses. Please be gentle, careful while assembling. This product is designed for a single use. Apply your creativity while assembling. Assembly manual is provided with the kit.
