Aarushi Agrawal : An affair with life

In a conversation with Aarushi Agrawal :

1)    Tell us a bit about yourself. What intrigued you to become a video jockey ? Do you believe this is the ideal profession for you or do you want to try something else ?

When it comes to me, I would like to describe myself as a girl who wants to explore different fields of life and live the live to the fullest. Currently, I am in final year of my Engineering, but I have tried my hands on blogging, acting, modelling. So, I am an engineer cum blogger cum a VJ. Currently my target is to complete my post graduation and then I will pursue my interests and that is VJING.

2)    How do you manage your college life along with video Jockey and blogging?

Doing multi-tasking is something that has been my strength since childhood. I’ve always believed in keeping myself busy and doing something or the other because not utilizing my time the right way is something, I don’t like at all. And as I am an engineer, the only thing we learn from it is managing life, how to study for exams a night before and do great. Being an Engineer has always helped me in pursuing my other interests as well and helped me become what I am now and there’s still a long way to go.

3)    How long would you like to continue your career as a video Jockey?

To be honest, I want to be a Video jockey for my whole life and travel the world, explore the unexplored places. But when it comes to continuing it as a career, I have some other short term goals which i have to achieve first. My long term goal is where my heart lies and it’s in VJing.

4)    How do you deal with the pressure. As everyone is coming up as a blogger, you need to be unique with the content. What makes you different from other bloggers?

What I believe in is success always comes to people who don’t believe in competition rather in self satisfaction, so I would say even if everyone is coming up as a blogger it is great, let other people also try their hands on it. But yes, being unique with the content and being creative is something that is really essential, the copy paste things won’t help here at all, so for being different, creativity, perceptive to see everything in a different way, zeal and determination is all you need.

5) Aarushi, as a video jockey you need to have that oomph factor and really get the audience attention. What is your oomph factor and how do you manage to get the attention of the audience?

In today’s world, people with positivity have become really less, my oomph factor has always been a mindset of bringing some change and positivity. Whenever I work I try to make  something that will bring a smile on people’s face. As far as managing to get the attention is concerned, my audience has always loved my work and appreciated me for the same and this keeps me going.

6) Aarushi, which career would most suit you, an engineer, a blogger or a video jockey and why ?

I want a career where I can merge all my hobbies and interests, so my plan is to first do my post graduation that is MBA, where I can learn management in a better way. Well and then become an entrepreneur where I can club all this in my company which will include everything that I love i.e blogging,VJing and many more things.

7) What would be the single biggest suggestion you would give to someone who wants to get into blogging and become a video jockey ?

The common biggest suggestion to both would be not to fear any competition and to focus on improvising yourself. And individually, when it comes to blogging, I would say no matter what you do just be original, copying other person’s content and ideas can never help you, so try to be as creative as you can. And when it comes to VJing, my suggestion would be that you always have to be confident  and be a charmer, if you can’t be that then you can’t be a VJ.
