Mandarins are citrus fruits which are also known as Mandarin oranges or Tangerines. Mandarin Essential Oil is a light, uplifting essential oil, suitable for treating both acne and scars. Mandarin oil is a common sedative, its sedating action is more on relaxing and calming nervous problems and disturbances. It can calm attacks of epilepsy, hysteria and convulsions. Mandarin is good to reduce stress and anxiety. Mandarin essential oi lblends with most of the other citrus oils such as those of neroli, grapefruit, orange, lime, and lemon. It also blends well with essential oils of bergamot, cinnamon, clary sage, clove, frankincense, lavender and nutmeg. Mandarin Essential Oil may be phototoxic, so use with care in sunlight; use mandarin in a carrier oil base to balance pungency.
