The polyester gives the material strength and durability, the polyamide gives the microfiber a softer, silkier texture and allows the fabric to be tremendously absorbent and quick drying.Microfiber or microfibre is synthetic fiber is 1/100th the diameter of a human hair and 1/20th the diameter of a strand of silk.
