Avatar is all set to awe us again just like the last time. Jon Landau the producer who has won an Oscar is ready to move Avatar 2 onto the big screen board. It is titled Avatar: The Way of Water. It is directed by James Cameron who on his social media has shared his heartfelt message to his Indian fans. In his tweet, he expressed how much he likes Indian culture and how excited he was to release his film Avatar in 5 Indian Languages. This includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Hence, a treat for all Indian fan who loves to watch this in their language. Also, it will reach almost everyone as language will no longer be a barrier. The release date is also been officially announced.
His tweet said, ‘Let’s celebrate the return to Pandora on 16th Dec.’
So Avatar 2 Release date is 16th December 2022.

Why did the film release get delayed?
- Avatar 2 was supposed to begin filming in April 2016, but April passed without any production starts. The motion-capture portion of the movie would have begun production in August 2017 according to a January announcement made the following year, but it started in September.
- Cameron attributed the delays to the “extremely extensive” writing process. However, he acknowledged having worries in a recent interview. But so far, it appears that those worries are unjustified.
- With Avatar 2 arriving 12 years later, Cameron admitted he was a little worried that he had “stretched the cord too far” until the teaser trailer went live and garnered 148 million views in only 24 hours.
Avatar 2, ticket booking
Avatar 2’s movie ticket booking has started on a huge note thus enhancing great expectations to make the greatest early collection. For this reason, sellers are hiking the price as well. PVR and other multiplex have already started ticket booking with a comparatively higher price.
- It starts at 500 INR and goes up to 1500 INR and more.
- For IMAX and other 4DX, it’s ever costlier. You can expect it to be anywhere between 800 INR to 1650 INR.
- If you are planning to be the early bird… consider this.

Even with the Rs 0-1000 price filter on, we couldn’t find any ticket less than 940 INR. The tickets are that costly. It’s worth it though. If you think it’s not appropriate for your budget, wait for a while and then plan your Avatar 2 theatre experience according.
