AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

INSPIRATION

Nature inspires man in many ways, yet it is left to an individual’s perception of what he observes and assimilates. And, Aasya Health Foundation draws its inspiration from Sharvani, a 9 year old girl affected with Leukemia.

Hailing from a not so well to do family, financial assistance was not very easy. When the family reached out for philanthropists through the local media, the  columns of the newspaper with an innocent helpless face touched the heartstrings of Mr.Sree Ram, MCA student of SNIST giving him a strong inspiration. Thus bloomed the idea of Aasya Health Foundation with a motto to spread the smiles among these children.

“INSPIRATION CAN ALSO COME FROM A 9 YEAR GIRL”- SREE RAM, Founder and President

MISSION

He aspires to spread this foundation in leaps and bounds.

We have held many walk-a-thons for spreading awareness among people.

Aasya Foundation organized its 1st Annual Walk-a-thon, Walk Against Cancer 2016, in honour of cancer patients and their caregivers.

Walk Against Cancer creates awareness about cancer, promotes a healthy lifestyle, raises funds for the care of people with cancer and honours those battling cancer.

Cancer makes no distinction between gender, class, faith, age or income. “It will touch 1 in 3 of us”; that’s you or one of the two people closest to you! Exercise, awareness and a healthy lifestyle can help keep cancer at bay. So, put your best foot forward and join in the fight, ONE STEP AT A TIME!

Along with it, 9 flash mobs in different cities , 15 medical camps , 4 successful blood donation camps were organized. In the past one year, we have held 25 kids cancer camps and also performed 200+ tasks for it.
