Will the Indian fix their Bowling? Former Cricketer’s Remark.
Taking into consideration of this whole T20 2022 history in Indian cricket, India has faced a lot of ups and downs. From fixing their batting order to the current dead Bowling mystery. Unlike batting, Indian bowlers are strongly questioned for their inability to fix their tasks. Former cricketer Aakash Chopra questioned the chances of the Indian team’s success with a weak bowling line-up as the Indian team couldn’t align their targets.
Be it with the crucial IND vs PAK match or IND vs Sri Lanka, the Indian team couldn’t reach their targets. Australia had to score 55 in 4 overs. With a flat pitch and tiny boundaries, Australia won through the highest-ever score with 4 balls still left unused.
It’s sad to trace the fall of the Indian team just because of weak bowling. Since January 2022, Nearly 30 bowlers have bowled over 20+ deaths. Which is really shocking. To notice that bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar with 9.+ worst economy in 2022 created a fuss among the audience as he was also the one to get 5/45 wickets against SriLanka in 2017 and 3/45 wickets against Australia and 3/50 against the same in 2019.
Harshal Patel’s economy being 10.45 is even more pathetic. He is well known to be the first ever bowler to take 5 wickets against Mumbai Indians in IPL. Aakash Chopra also criticized Yuzvendra Chahal for experimenting with the bowling speed against Australia. Mr. Chopra advised Yuzvendra to stick to his strengths.
Bumrah to replace Umesh Yadav?
While the entire Cricket industry brokenheartedly is ready to take India’s failure in this T20, it is also hoping for Bumrah’s return. Fans believe that his entry would solve half of the problem. If fully sorted, Bumrah would replace Umesh Yadhav. There is also a blah-blah about Ashwin R replacing Yuzvendra. It’s not official yet. Fans are excited about their entry but as exciting as the change sounds, it’s very clear how much tension would fall on the new entries. While the Indian team is facing a mess, the Australian team is going to remain unchanged.
Considering Nagpur, bowlers can expect a better pitch comparatively. Let’s hope for the best. The last match that happened here was against Bangladesh and it was highly favorable to our Indian Bowling team. Deepak Chahar registered figures of 6 for 7 which is really remarkable. With or Without the replacement, fans also believe in the ground’s pitch. so let’s keep our Fingers Crossed!
