HTC 10 First Look Leaked

HTC’s Next flagship device is on it’s way to you.

Yes, you read it right, this time around HTC is going with a more simple and easy name that would be HTC 10, instead of HTC One M10. Although it’s not going to be launched in the coming weeks as we aren’t seeing any invitations out yet but it’s definitely coming soon.

HTC itself has been teasing people with images and trailers indicating chamfered edges and some new changes in design language.

Apparently HTC employees aren’t going home at night anymore, instead opting to work on the HTC 10, with which they’re obsessed, “but in a good way”.

The grand announcement may or may not happen on April 11, as previously rumored. If it does there is a possibilty of the phone getting available by May.

But the teasers like always were soon expected to be followed by some render leaks. The same happened with HTC 10, Evan Blass (@evleaks) gave out the full press renders of the HTC 10.

It looks like dual stereo speakers aren’t making a return as well as there are now hardware home button and capacitive keys.
The leaks didn’t stop there… Later on @Onleaks gave out some photos of the a fully functioning prototype.

Along with these, @Onleaks has also revealed some “prototype specifications” for the HTC 10.

It’s supposedly coming with a 5.15-inch QHD touchscreen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset on board, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAM, three storage options (16, 32, and 64GB), a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera with phase detection and laser autofocus, as well as optical image stabilization, a 5 MP UltraPixel selfie shooter, and a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port. It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8 on top.

These leaked specs have been around for a while and aren’t very surprising at this point but the camera is said to be using the ultra pixel technology. Camera comparisons between the HTC 10 and the S7 will thus be very interesting indeed, especially as HTC itself has already claimed that its phone’s camera will be “very compelling”.
