Meet Satyam Ramawat<\/strong>,\u00a0a versatile photographer <\/strong>who has always believed in hard work and his efficiency has allowed him to be a successful and famous photographer. He is very passionate about his photography . He plans to hit the big screens soon and looking at his works it doesn\u2019t seem that the day is far away. He hails from Jodhpur,<\/strong> Rajasthan<\/strong> and his pictures have been published in\u00a0VOYAGE DIARIES<\/strong> magazine. He loves traveling to different places everyday and capture fruitful moments during the golden hours everyday. His magical\u00a0Canon 600D has recorded some wild and precious memories fro him which he can cherish forever. Let’s know more about this magical photographer and his journey so far.<\/p>\n

In a conversation with Satyam Ramawat :<\/h3>\n

Exactly what it is you want to say through your photographs and how do you actually get your photographs to do that?<\/h3>\n

My photographs define the current mood of my heart and soul. So, if my soul is happy then it will reflect automatically in the photographs, the sky and things and the nature will automatically become fresh and alive. I don\u2019t know how I set my mood in the photographs I take but I know one thing that the tones and composition of my pictures always do that for me. And yes my eyes are always searching for the composition without camera.<\/p>\n

What motivates you to continue taking pictures economically, politically, intellectually or emotionally?<\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>I am way too much attached to my photographs because I am emotionally connected to my beautiful world.<\/p>\n

What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?<\/h3>\n

I wish I knew that this world contains a lot of inner beauty, we just have to see the things very closely and keep it locked in our photographs.<\/p>\n

How do you get the person, place or thing that is in front of the camera onto the film just the way you want?<\/h3>\n

Every night I do imagination of various shots with various variants. The imagination which makes me happy and gets me excited, I design that shot the very next day.<\/p>\n

Just imagine you have gone to a company for the job of a photographer and the first question they ask you is \u201c Why shall we hire you? \u201c and next to show them a unique \u00a0photograph without using your camera. What will be your answer?<\/h3>\n

I a am very passionate and creative visual artist, I can actually see the beauty of nature, people & world from my eyes and yes I thank god for gifting me with such a good creative visual. As I said earlier photographs are the imagination of an ARTIST, so I will take the interviewer to the location where I found peace between GOLDEN HOURS- that is morning before 6PM and evening after 6PM. Therefore I will make the interviewer see what I feel and how the mood comes in my photographs and I’m certain that he will never forget my beautiful world.<\/p>\n

The old generation was a generation of original photographs and the current generation is a generation of filters and effects. What are your views on this?<\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>No, I differ from the above statement as old generation has taught us how to take photographs with good composition. Current generation is teaching us how to showcase our work with the actual colors we feel.<\/p>\n

How does black and white vs color play their roles into your work? Do you find them to be totally separate beasts or complementary?<\/h3>\n

Black and white will tell more about the inner story of the photographs and colors actually define the mood of photographer. So, it depends on each individual how he wants to capture that particular moment and wants to highlight which aspect of the photograph.<\/p>\n

For you how important is content vs form in street photography? Do you think for you one plays a stronger role than the other?<\/h3>\n

I think form and content is very important in street photography because if you have a good technique like how to play with lights in street and you have\u00a0 the imagination of depiction then it’s a sure sure win. Yes, I can play stronger role in this field because after a long experience I got perfection here and with others I can\u2019t judge or tell because as I said it totally depends on you. If you know how to play with your mind and gear than you are perfect.<\/p>\n

When you are out shooting- how much of it is instinctual vs planned?<\/h3>\n

What I have found in my life\u2019s experience is that planned shoots works very rarely. Whenever I visit some place, I start imagining the entire scenario and I start feeling and smelling up the place and that makes me more comfortable to put my mood into the picture. So, yeah instinctual shoots are always better.<\/p>\n
