The dynamic duo, Parth Jain and Parth Shah<\/strong> have deep understanding about their respective professions. Parth Jain started his career at Shah & Purohit Chartered Accountants by working as an article assistant, whereas Parth Shah started his career as a software developer by working at Zeus Learning. The duo led by frustration due to unavailability of local publications on both physical stores and online stores conceptualized StudySid<\/strong> which is an educational marketplace that acts as a bridge between students and education service providers by displaying in-depth information for the same.<\/p>\n

Ques: Please provide a brief overview of StudySid.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Studysid is an educational marketplace bridging gap between students and edu-service providers (teachers and classes) by displaying in-depth information of the same. It enables the user to search and discover various deals and incentives as well.<\/p>\n

Ques: What inspired you to build the above product\/ service?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The issue with books of local publications was no home delivery, cramped up bookstores, go there twice yet the books not available plus these books are not available on Flipkart\/Amazon. Hence, just to provide a simple service to cater that many issues was inspiring. Also regarding our new product search, discovery & booking of academic and co-curricular classes, we saw the extreme dependence on a few word of mouth reviews, lack of exhaustive options and no incentives to learn better and beyond the normal. Hence this opportunity was inspiring and motivating. The boom in the Indian Startup ecosystem was definitely a push factor.<\/p>\n

Ques: What is your life mantra?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Persevere, hustle, fail, do not give up, work and eventually succeed is the only life mantra we believe in and follow.<\/p>\n

Ques: What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Everything has been a challenge but a fun challenge. Right from convincing parents and family, making interns work , convincing clients to get on board without even having our new product ready, not taking up a job even being 23-24 years old. In fact creating the flow of our business model has been difficult and we are experimenting regularly.<\/p>\n

Ques: How did you overcome these challenges?<\/h3>\n

We believe motivation is the key and we have just managed to share our vision with parents , interns , ourselves over and over again to tackle these challenges. We celebrate every achievement like this interview with Student Stories and this pushes us further seeking the next glory.\"studysid<\/p>\n

Ques: Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the business till now.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

We are currently bootstrapping from our savings and other part-time commitments. Also, we have been offered a small round in our ideation phase but we decided to wait till we could sustain. Surely, we will be looking to raise once we launch our new website in the coming month.<\/p>\n

Ques: How do you protect yourself from the problem of Brain Drain?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Traveling, watching sitcoms like friends and more importantly cricket every Sunday morning. We came up with the idea of Studysid after a game of cricket only.<\/p>\n

Ques: According to you, what are the three qualities an individual must have to achieve success?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Undying perseverance, Hardcore Passion , Strong analyzing\/questioning abilities are the three must have qualities for an individual to succeed in life.\"study<\/p>\n

Ques: Which online tools\/ services\/ apps do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Instagram & Facebook for marketing and social awareness. Startup blogs and Youtube for inspirational videos (highly recommended). All these tools are very effective and actually help a startup to make it presence felt among the masses.<\/p>\n
