Founder of Beats<\/strong>, It is an event organized annually. It’s a musical event, various bands and dance performances by individuals and professional groups come up to support this event.<\/p>\n

The money collected from various mediums \u00a0is donated to an NGO that works for the cause of Cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In conversation with Khushbu Kriti:<\/p>\n

1.How Beats came into existence? When did the idea hit you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We had this initiative in our school back in Class 10th<\/sup>– The Art of Living<\/strong>, and they used to teach us meditation and yoga before the classes started. There was this one time when they had engaged us in an indoor activity where we had to form partners and list down requirements for a huge event that we were hypothetically organizing. I, along with my best friend Devanshi, bubbled with excitement while we kept listing things and thinking about a tremendous event that we could execute. By the end of the activity we realized we wanted to do it, for real, and we both always had discussed how we could help the society, so this was our big hint- We could organize an all-city musical<\/strong> (musical, because we were dancers as well and were in touch with a number of musician friends, so we had little to worry about the performances) event in Lucknow and for a cause. That was when we discussed it with our parents and decided to help Cancer patients<\/strong> and our preparations began. We successfully executed Beats Of \u201813 after two months, on June 7th<\/sup>, later Beats of \u201814 and \u201816 as well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. What are you areas of Interests? What makes your work satisfactory?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I am a passionate writer, a blogger and I love creating poetry<\/strong>. I enjoy dancing as a hobby and an exercise. It keeps me fit and calms my soul off the mundane stress. I work with a network marketing company too, so that helps me to learn to manage work along with studies. I like reading motivational books- success stories- it encourages me to keep striving and not give up<\/strong>. I also am an event organizer and along with my team, organize Beats once annually.
\nI believe in giving\u00a0my best in whatever I do, I keep working until I feel that it cannot be improved anymore, I make sure that I put in equal time and dedication in everything I do which probably makes my work satisfactory.<\/p>\n

3. You are also going to publish your first book soon. Tell us a bit about your book and when is it going to get published?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I started writing poetry since Class 11th<\/sup><\/strong> and I developed this habit of writing about everything that went wrong or right in my life, in metaphors and in the form of poetry. It was initially a beautiful way to vent out and then it became something I enjoyed a lot. I only wrote when I felt like. Whenever I was in trouble, I wrote how I was entangled in a puzzle but always gave it a positive and motivational ending because I knew I would come out of it, no matter what. Later, I realized that my poems encouraged not just me but everyone who read it because everyone was in some kind of mess or the other. It was then I thought of sharing my thoughts with the world.
\nHence, my book is about my life, and about how life is a roller coaster of light and dark, sorrow and ecstasy. They are usually motivational and positive in nature<\/strong>. My book- My First Flight is going to be published before the end of this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. What kind of articles you prefer for writing in? What topics you cover for your Blog?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I believe everyone is fighting a battle, some kind or the other and I strongly feel that everyone can win theirs with just a little bit of support. Thus, I write stuff to encourage and inspire people<\/strong>. Some of my articles are \u201cSuicide- Is that even an option?\u201d or \u201cMy Guide to be Happy\u201d<\/strong>, etc. I also add interviews of people and share my poetry in my blog.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. At such a young age, you<\/strong>\u2019<\/strong>ve been an entrepreneur, a writer, a poet, a blogger. How do you manage all these things together?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to me, being a workaholic is another level of fun altogether<\/strong>. It teaches me a lot of things- from efficient time management, the importance of scoring well in academics as well as getting work done, meeting deadlines and the value of money. Nothing can be achieved without hard work and dedication and I like to have the feel of those before I reach any certain age, so that then I don\u2019t have to start from zero but I already have some garnered experience.<\/p>\n

6. How Beat works? What is the motive of Beat? How do you bring people in for their performance?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Beats is an all-city charity and musical event, dedicated in its purpose of fighting cancer<\/strong>. We believe in fighting against cancer by spreading awareness about it among individuals of all age groups and by raising funds through such events to provide economic aid to the many who seek assistance.\u00a0Our team collaborates with an NGO every year that works for patients suffering from cancer\u00a0and generate funds for them<\/strong>.
\nWe have performances by bands and dance groups as well as individuals. Initially we had started with inviting our friends to perform, all the talented musicians and dancers from different schools and colleges. We had our own dance group as well- Junoon. Later, by Beats Of \u201816, a good number of people came to know about Beats and thus, we had performances by professional bands and dance groups from even Mumbai and Delhi as well.<\/p>\n

7. What you would like to suggest to the youth, interested in multiple fields like you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I would just like to say that literally nothing is impossible if you have the will power and dedication to prove yourself. You don\u2019t have to do it for others- do it for yourself, for your happiness, for your satisfaction<\/strong>. Carry back ups and make them so perfect that you don\u2019t have to think a second time on choosing them if what you wanted to do initially did not work out. Everyone falls but the success mantra lies in the fact that what is important is picking yourself back up, continue believing in yourself and working hard.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
