Few accidents create marvellous journeys. One such happened to LEADer Sandesh Bosale,<\/strong> an engineering student at KLS GIT Belagavi.<\/strong> An aspiring student who is now a LEADer.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

LEAD orientation programs bring a lot of LEADers every year. During the LEAD orientation program conducted at KLS GIT College, Sandesh Bosale joined LEAD without knowing the treasures it will be giving him. It was just within few days that Sandesh Bosale became a part of a project. A project that would be the start to the exciting projects ahead. They had a brainstorming camp<\/strong> at Khadarwadi<\/strong>. He and his fellow LEADers recognised and raised the problems faced at that village. They wrote a letter about the problems faced by the villagers to the chairman. Hygiene and sanitation were the primary aspects in the project<\/strong>. They created awareness of the same to the villagers. The villagers even showed gratitude to the LEADers, they offered a cup of tea to every LEADer working on the project.<\/p>\n

\"SAndesh_bhosale\"<\/p>\n

Kargil Vijay Diwas<\/strong><\/h4>\n

It was celebrated all over India and the same was organized in KLS GIT by the LEADers and Sandesh Bosale was a part of it. The LEADers imbibed a sense of freedom and independence in the younger generation<\/strong>. A candle march was also done and the best part was where the participants of the candle march were the students of Arsh Vidya Ashram<\/strong>. Parents of the children appreciated LEADers for such a move.<\/p>\n

\u201cAzaadi \u201870\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

70th Independence Day<\/strong> found a new title by the LEADer Sandesh Bosale. LEADers celebrated the day under the name \u201cAzaadi \u201870\u201d<\/strong>. LEADers visited many govt. schools that day and conducted various competitions such as drawing, essay writing etc. the events were successful and all the winners received their awards from Vittal Yalagi, a Freedom Fighter.<\/p>\n

Daan utsav<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A week of giving was celebrated by LEADers in Belagavi and LEADer Sandesh Bosale was a huge part of it.<\/p>\n

\"Daan<\/p>\n

He and his fellow LEADers collected around 600kg of grains, clothes, and text books to donate to various orphanages and old age homes around the city.<\/strong> Even a day meal was prepared by the LEADers at the Arsh Vidya Ashram for the students over there. In addition to this, LEADers distributed 500 paper bags<\/strong> to the markets. An initiative was taken by the LEADers to even celebrate the birthday<\/strong> of Legendary Bhagat Singh<\/strong> at Arsh Vidya Ashram with over 40 students.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so fortunate to be a part of LEAD\u201d, says LEADer Sandesh Bosale who feels very lucky to be a part of the LEAD kick-off event of LEAD Prayana at VTU. <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He worked for the creativity team and was also selected for the Prayana 2017. When asked how his experience was, he replied, \u201cIt was the greatest trip of my life. My favourite place was Dharamshala. I am very much inspired by the place. Dr. Virendra Hegde Sir was the best. I loved the way they organised SKDRDP, Siri and the 100 acres land. Special attraction was Annapurna, where we had the best meal ever. I bet no one will ever come out hungry out of that place. Many more place that we visited were awesome. Mysore, Infosys, Microsoft and many more exciting places and to end it off, the Agastya International Foundation at Kuppam\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"LEADer<\/p>\n

LEADer Sandesh Bosal<\/strong>e is part of the college to earn the best performing college award at the Yuva Summit 2017<\/strong>. He was awarded as the Master LEADer<\/strong> at the LEAD Valedictory 2017 conducted at Belagavi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In conversation with Sandesh Bhosale :<\/h4>\n

Ques: When did you join LEAD?<\/h3>\n

I joined LEAD in 2015. I was pursuing my Engineering course and was a student of 1st year. It is compulsion in our college to join any social campaign or trusts or NGOs.<\/p>\n

Ques: What all projects have you \u00a0covered?<\/h3>\n

I am done with the various projects. Few of them were:<\/p>\n

1.Khadarwadi drainage water problem
\n2 .Azaadi’70
\n3.Kargil vijay diwas
\n4.Daan Utsav
\n5.Mission Panthbalekundri
\n6.Daan Utsav
\n7.International women’s day
\n8.celebration of Bhagath singh bday
\n9.Diya selling
\n10.Destribution of Paper bags to local vendors
\n11.Preparing food for orphanage kids
\nAnd many more…<\/p>\n

Ques: What inspired you to be a part of LEAD?<\/h3>\n

I had never been a part of any social innovation club before my engineering. \u00a0So, when I heard about “LEAD”, name itself tells Leader and their tagline “problem start with they, solutions start with I<\/strong>“, I was very much motivated. I visited their website, saw their previous projects. Seeing their vision and motivation, I was very enthusiastic to join it.<\/p>\n

Ques: How do you feel being a part of such an organization?<\/h3>\n

I feel very lucky to be part of such a wonderful organization which is working day and night for the society.
\nI thank LEAD for giving me such a great opportunity. I feel motivated \u00a0and a feeling of satisfaction is felt after working for someone without any greed.<\/p>\n

Ques: How do you help people and find them ?<\/h3>\n

Firstly, I started it from my home by motivating my fellow friends and brothers to help the one who needs it. My family was a quite supporting throughout .
\nSecondly, I asked my neighbours \u00a0not to\u00a0 waste food. If you have extra or left over food give to me.\u00a0Third thing, I personally did was to collect extra food from hostel and distribute that to road side vendors.When it comes to provide shelter to them, I inform them about govt. schemes which are giving home loans.<\/p>\n

What I believe is “We all are the messengers of god. Not everyone gets the opportunity to Serve!”<\/strong><\/p>\n
