Himanshu Singh<\/strong>, a small town boy from Raebareli, was crowned as the Mr. New Delhi<\/strong>, 2nd runner-up and also Mr. Talented 2k17<\/strong>. It was just his dedication and belief in himself that kept him going during all his struggles. He is presently pursuing B.Sc in cinema from Noida<\/strong> and also is a semi-finalist for the Mr. India Sapphire Continental<\/strong>. Not only this, he’s also a good Dancer, painter and wishes to be a Film-Maker by profession.<\/p>\n

In conversation with Himanshu Singh :<\/p>\n

\u00a01.Firstly Heartiest congratulations to you for Mr. New Delhi, 2nd runner-up. Describe that feeling when your name was called out?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Thank you so much sir. In that crowd, \u00a0I was only thinking about my parent’s, that, from now on no one would bring them down by gossiping about them and whoever did that before would automatically shut their mouth with the milestone that I had achieved, besides that, I was very happy and excited, came home dancing, called up my mom, sister and \u00a0friends who had supported me during the journey of Mr. Delhi<\/strong>. I was really very happy after this grand achievement, but, \u00a0the next day I got news that my grandfather passed away but that was fine because my mom told me that, this is what we call life.<\/p>\n

2. Tell us the reason behind choosing \u201cCROVRY\u201d in your name. What does it mean to you?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I chose the word \u201cCROVRY\u201d so as to stand out from the crowd and I feel really good and comfortable with this name. \u00a0Something from inside, my inner voice told me to keep this in my name and also the word \u201cCROVRY\u201d strengthens me. \u00a0It\u2019s an unexplained ‘good’ feeling to me. \u00a0I always include #CROVRY in all my post and all. \u00a0And one more thing I want to tell you is that now when someone searches my name \u201cCROVRY\u201d\u201d on Google, they find me and that’s really an undefined \u00a0feeling to see this change.<\/p>\n

3. You are currently pursuing B.Sc. in Cinema. How did you get interested in this field? \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s something very interesting actually, when I was around 11 years old then I saw \u201cMadhuri Dixit<\/strong>\u201d ma’am dancing on TV. \u00a0I fell in love with her from that moment. \u00a0I became a big fan of her and from that day onwards, dance became my addiction and that addiction became my dream, which I’ll surely make true, and then I thought I would do something in the film industry when I grow up, so this is how I got into this stream.<\/p>\n

4. You said your parents were against this profession, so how did you convince them?<\/h2>\n

My mother was always very supportive but some of my family members and my father were a little against this decision of mine in the beginning<\/strong>. \u00a0Then I gave them some time to think, \u00a0along with this my mother, my little brother and some of my relatives tried a lot to convince my father, \u00a0one of my uncle also advised that let him go, he will definitely make you proud one day, then my father discussed with me regarding this, he wasn’t fully convinced but still he permitted me to go.<\/p>\n

5. You underwent a lot of struggles. \u00a0How did you come over them? What kept you Motivated?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

My belief in myself, confidence, \u00a0constant support from my family and friends kept me going and motivated.<\/p>\n

6. Now you are aiming for Mr. India Continental Sapphire, How’s the training different from that for Mr. New Delhi?<\/h2>\n

Mr. India Sapphire continental is a lot tougher than Mr. Delhi<\/strong>, but the experience that I had gained after participating in Mr. Delhi is helping me a lot in the training of Mr. India Sapphire continental.<\/p>\n

7. Who were your constant supporters FAMILY or FRIENDS? How did they support you?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I’m thankful to both my family and \u00a0friends but I would say my family supported me more. \u00a0My parents believed in me and never said no for anything even my sister, and uncle – aunty was always there for me. \u00a0So their belief in me and their constant support kept me going.<\/p>\n

8. Where are we going to see you in the near future? Are you planning a permanent switch to modelling as your profession?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

People would see me as a film maker, entertainer or a model in the near future. \u00a0No I’m not planning to switch in modelling as permanent profession for now.<\/p>\n

9. Who is your inspiration? What are the motivating factors that are guiding you through?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I believe that inspiration is everywhere, I still remember the story of ant who tried climbing up the wall, and it was during the 7th time that it got successful. My belief in me, parent\u2019s belief in me and constant support from family, sister, uncle-aunty and friends motivated me to keep going.<\/p>\n

10. What’s your message for the upcoming teenagers after undergoing so many struggles?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
