The provisional answer key of <strong>COMEDK<\/strong> was released on May 17. \u00a0The expected result date is on <strong>May 29<\/strong>. The online exam was conducted across <strong>697 exam centres in 151 cities in India<\/strong>. The admissions are done across<strong> 20,000 seats<\/strong> offered by the participating institutes of COMED-K. More than <strong>60,000 students generally apply for the COMEDK UGET<\/strong>, an alternate test to engineering admissions in Karnataka after the state held<strong> CET<\/strong> exam.<span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; line-height: 25.600000381469727px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1rem;\">Over 60,000 candidates register for COMEDK UGET every year. Last year, around 68,628 aspirants had registered for the state level entrance exam, while only 55,680 (81%) had taken the entrance examination.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1rem;\">COMEDK UGET 2017 is a state level entrance exam open for all Indian states.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Candidates have to appear for a Computer Based Test. Candidates can practice with a mock test announced by the COMEDK authorities.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1rem;\">Admissions to participating institutes of <strong>COMEDK UGET 2017 will be offered on the basis of the test takers\u2019 merit<\/strong>. The merit list of COMEDK UGET 2017 will be prepared based on the examinees\u2019 performance in the entrance exam.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1rem;\">COMEDK publishes the test scores and ranks of the examinees, after which <strong>centralised counselling (single window)<\/strong> will be conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes available across the participating institutes of COMEDK UGET 2017.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>COMEDK 2017 cut-offs<\/h2>\n<p>This year the cut offs will be announced before conducting the admissions for 2017-18. <strong>Cut-off of COMEDK UGET 2017 is the closing rank or last rank at which admission to a particular undergraduate engineering programme at a particular engineering college will get closed<span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In other words, admissions will not be offered to test takers after the closing rank or cutoffs of COMEDK
