Eligibilty Criteria in GNDEC Ludhiana for 2017 Admissions, B.Tech, M. Tech, MCA, MBA Courses Eligibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria in GNDEC Ludhiana for academic session 2017-18<\/h2>\n

<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

\u00a0B.Tech. 1st Year \u00a0– 4 YEARS \/8 SEMESTER<\/h3>\n

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by central\/state government through a legislation with Physics and Mathematics<\/strong> as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- 1. Chemistry 2. Biotechnology 3. Computer Science 4. Biology<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

Those candidates who have passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training<\/strong>, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology<\/strong>, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.<\/p>\n

\u00a0B.Tech. 2ND \u00a0Year(LATERAL ENTRY) \u00a0– 3 YEARS \/6 SEMESTERS<\/h3>\n

All those candidates who have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved<\/strong> institution and have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering \/ Technology shall be eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

(a) All those candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree<\/strong> from a recognized University as defined by UGC<\/strong>, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject shall be eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

(b) Students who have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall clear the subject of Engineering Graphics \/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with second year subjects.<\/p>\n

MBA 2 Years \/ 4 Semesters<\/h3>\n

All those candidates who have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three years<\/strong> duration in any discipline from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)<\/strong> and with valid rank in CMAT<\/strong> shall be eligible to apply for MBA course. In case candidates with valid CMAT Score are not available the seats shall be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in qualifying examination.<\/p>\n

MCA 3 Years \/ 6 Semesters<\/h3>\n

All those candidates who have passed any recognized Bachelor\u2019s degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics\/ Statistics \/Business Mathematics \/ Business Statistics \/ Quantitative Techniques as Compulsory\/ Optional\/ Additional Paper as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or at graduation level.<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

Have passed BCA<\/strong> course of minimum three years duration from any recognized University.<\/p>\n

MCA (Lateral Entry) 2 Years \/ 4 Semesters<\/h3>\n

All those candidates who have passed any recognized Bachelor\u2019s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, Bsc.(IT\/Computer Science<\/strong>) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of Candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n

M.Tech. Courses (Part Time) Under Regional Centres <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The eligibility criteria for admission to M. Tech. (Part Time) course, running under Regional Centres of IKGPTU<\/strong>, is regular B.E. \/ B. Tech. with at least 50% marks (irrespective of reserved category) in aggregate and valid GATE<\/strong> Score shall be eligible to apply for Post graduate level M.Tech Course. In case candidates with valid GATE Score are not available the seats shall be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in qualifying examination.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>–<\/p>\n

1. AMIE \/ AMIETE \/ AMACSE graduates including graduates from other Govt. recognized professional bodies equivalent to AMIE with 55% or above<\/strong> marks in their exams in such body may also take admission to M. Tech. with the condition that the branch adopted at graduation level must be same as the specialization applied for.<\/p>\n

2. A valid gate score would be preferred but is not mandatory for admission to M. Tech.<\/p>\n
