Ganpat Krishna Yadav, <\/strong>MNIT, Jaipur graduate used to work in the groundnut mill, graze the cattle, catch up with his studies in the night during his school days. Never though did all this pressure get to him. In fact, he cleared his Class X examination with a merit position at No. 2 on the district level and No. 14 at the state level<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When one of his relatives from Jaipur came to know about this achievement, he took Ganpat under his wings and encouraged him to study further. The determination and efforts paid rich dividends once again with him bagging the 18th<\/sup> position on the merit list in the Class XII examination and obtaining admission in the prestigious Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur<\/strong>. He never forgot his roots and heart-wrenching experiences in the village, the poverty and the unemployment & it led him to this noble work.<\/p>\n

1. What leads to you choosing organic farming?<\/h3>\n

The situation of my village led me choosing this work of awareness about organic farming. The groundwater level depleted day by day, the level of unemployment was rising tremendously which led to the increase in disparities between rich and poor. The situation that was at the forefront led me to start this brand with help and talent of the villagers.<\/p>\n

2. You counsel people, so what are the responses you get from them?<\/h3>\n

I have been getting different responses from different sections of society. There are different factors that affect the reactions and responses. The literate society, however, grasps the information on a faster rate but I am solely for the moment focusing on the beggars and less informed society which\u00a0comes to me as a challenge on a larger frame.<\/p>\n

3. How much do you think people are unaware in India about organic farming?<\/h3>\n

The level of awareness in India is good and quite unbelievable. People ranging from the lowest class of farmers to the highest class have knowledge about the chemical pesticides and GMO, how they deteriorate the quality of crops but the problem arises when that is not applied on the practical frame. The reason why it is not applied is that the conditions and results are not so good as\u00a0the earlier one. It is not the lack of awareness but the lack of the organic farming market which does not fulfill their economic aspects from the crop.<\/p>\n

4. What is the ideology of Indians on Organic Farming?<\/h3>\n

The ideology is fore shown directly by the inadequate amount of organic farming products market in India. This factor is the most demotivating one for the farmers as they are unable to sell their organic products directly to consumer intermediate organic companies.There are companies I can name with evidence who sell inorganic products on the name of them being organic. These multinational companies buy organic raw material from farmers at a low rate and mix it with chemicals, produce goods and sell at rate 3 to 4 times higher.<\/p>\n

5. What is the best moment in this noble journey so far?<\/h3>\n

I am still waiting for the moment to arrive. But, still, there is one moment that motivates me more than anything else. It is when a youngster inboxes and asks me how he or she can contribute toward the beggar free Jaipur. This encourages me unaccountably.<\/p>\n

6. How did your family react to leaving a well-paid job and how did they feel about it now?<\/h3>\n

My family opposed my decision of resignation. They criticized my decision on the extensive basis with their own worries and perception of my working for the society. I launched my own book and started this project but there was one person who supported my\u00a0project whole time that was my very own brother. I owe him the support and confidence he manifested in me forever.<\/p>\n

7. After such an extensive experience in the society and working for it what will be your message for the youth?<\/h3>\n

After all the experience I have acquired I would like to say that nothing is easy to change as nobody actually supports you. You have to consider yourself completely alone and frame the outlook in an amiable manner of the aim you are projecting in the forefront. The hard work that one manifests in the aim is what comes out as the result. The results may vary from the expectations but that should not dishearten a person.<\/p>\n
