Roshni Misbah<\/strong>, the 22-year-old student of Arab Islamic Culture<\/strong> at the revered\u00a0Jamia Millia Islamia<\/strong>, New Delhi, has now become a sensation around the country. Roshni Misbah is just another girl studying in college, but what puts her on a different podium than most women her age is her passion for riding motorcycles. While most women only toy with the idea of riding a bike, Roshni took it to the streets of Delhi and became famous with the title of\u00a0\u2018Hijabi Biker\u2019.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1.When did you first ride a bike?<\/h3>\n
I rode my first bike when I was 9 years even then I was wearing a Hijab. Riding a bike has always been within me. My passion has been shared by my father and sister as well. Love for riding was ever since. I am Born to Love bikes. My father is a Superbike enthusiast as well. So it was very obvious to love Motorcycles.<\/div>\n

2.When was the first instance of recognition for you?<\/h3>\n
All this happened overnight. When Aapka times<\/strong> spotted me and published about me. I was already famous in Some parts of Delhi. But it’s good to see how people support. And especially the women.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. Who has been your inspiration in the journey of becoming the “Hijabi Biker”?<\/h3>\n
My father has been my inspiration and my support throughout my journey. He always motivated me to do things which I love. He encouraged me to take up my dreams and live them to the utmost.<\/div>\n

4. What were the initial difficulties you faced from the stereotypical mentality of the Indian Crowd?<\/h3>\n
\u201cMy uncles and everyone else would ask my father why he had given me a bike because it is not meant for girls, and even, who would marry me?\u201d\u00a0Sadly, still Women are stereotyped to get married , have children, cook and stay back at home. Even when we have women Excelling in all fields today. I have noticed that the people who have been criticizing have not understood the Concept. They are criticizing “What’s the big deal in riding a bike?” “So what” or sometimes some come up to the religion.<\/div>\n

5. What were the changes you felt in your life after you started riding on your dream?<\/h3>\n
After becoming completely aware of my dream I became a part of The Delhi Chapter of the “Bikerni\u00a0Group”. It’s basically a gang of women that aims at spreading women empowerment through the medium of motorcycles and encourage women to go on adventures they would have never thought to go on before. Now people wave at me and I wave back at them, there are girls in my college who look up to me as an inspiration.<\/div>\n

6. What according to you is the condition of Women Empowerment in India?<\/h3>\n
According to me, No woman is Weak. We all can do everything we want. Also, a message for the Families “Support your children, support your daughters”.\u00a0Best of support is from the family. Educate your children and let them follow their dreams. Education is the key!<\/div>\n

7. Which bikes do you own and what do they mean\u00a0to you?<\/h3>\n
When I am on Bike. I forget all Depressions of the life. I totally enjoy it. My dream bike is a Triumph Rocket 2300, a Kawasaki Ninja h2r and a Triumph Daytona.<\/div>\n
