Anu (Shabana Azmi), a strong-minded woman is an anchoring rock of her family. She works as a college professor and takes care of her schizophrenic younger sister, Meethi (Konkona Sen Sharma). Things change when Joydeep (Rahul Bose) enters Meethi’s life and love blossoms between them. Despite her mental illness, he decides to marry her. In a horrifying twist of fate, Meethi is gang-raped. Her mental health further deteriorates due to this unfortunate incident. Joydeep gives up on her and moves on in his life by marrying another woman. Years later, their paths cross again and he is shocked to find out that Meethi no longer recognizes him and lives in her delusional world with her imaginary husband and kids in a house with an address of 15 Park Avenue. Blaming himself for her situation, Joydeep decides to get her out of it.
