We saw a lot of gadgets and accessories that contributed to the new category of &#8220;Wearables&#8221;. It was a stunning piece of craftsmanship. The Motorola Moto 360 launched back in September 2014 and was actually one of it&#8217;s kind.<br \/>\nWhile the rest of the smartwatches stuck to the old school boxy design, the Moto 360 went for a round look like an actual circular watch. So, motorola\u00a0basically took the old one, made a few improvements based on the feedback we gave and made it a lot better.<\/p>\n<h2>DESIGN<\/h2>\n<p>First of all there are now three main versions of the Motor 360 watch itself,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A small-diameter (42-millimetres)<\/li>\n<li>A woman&#8217;s version (42-millimetres) with some specialized band<\/li>\n<li>A large diameter and (46-millimetres)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-552\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-552 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family.jpg\" alt=\"Motorola Moto 360 watch offers\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/new-moto-360-family-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The large version is the same size as the original and as mentioned earlier we are\u00a0still rocking the same round shape that got the moto 360 its name, you might notice that bar at the bottom is still there that so called &#8220;flat tire&#8221;. It does cut off a tiny little bit of the display but it houses the sensors and it wraps around the LCD a little bit. The sole button is now at 2 o clock position.Obviously most smartwatches\u00a0can be customized\u00a0by\u00a0picking a different band. Motorola basically takes it to the next level, letting you pick a watch case color, the watch bezel color and the band. There are also band texture options available, as you&#8217;d expect.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-555\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-555\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2.jpg\" alt=\"moto-360-2nd-gen-2\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/moto-360-2nd-gen-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAll these bands are quick swappable so motorola made it pretty easy for you,\u00a0if you want to switch up to new look or you get a new band as a gift or something, you can use the lugs to quickly pop off your current band and attach a new one. This brings the moto\u00a0360 up to match other smart watches like the Apple watch in terms of making the band switching easy, I&#8217;m curious to see how durable this connection with the bands to the watch will be over time<\/p>\n<p>Also moto 360 is now ip67 water resistant and dust resistant, meaning you can shower with it if you want.<\/p>\n<h2>DISPLAY<\/h2>\n<p>The display itself is an\u00a0IPS LCD screen featuring a 360 x 330 resolution and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 panel. The Moto 360 now has a 400mAh\u00a0battery\u00a0in\u00a0the large version and a 300mAh\u00a0battery in the small and in the women&#8217;s version.<br \/>\nIt was quoted at the launch event that you&#8217;ll apparently\u00a0get<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Two full days of normal use on the large version<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>but that&#8217;s without the ambient mode on.<br \/>\nAll I have to say about the battery life is <em>&#8220;we shall see&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-562\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-562 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery.jpg\" alt=\"Motorola Moto 360 battery\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Battery-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>PERFORMANCE AND USER EXPERIENCE<\/h2>\n<p>Performance wise the Moto 360 is able to handle all the tasks you throw at it, there is absolutely no lag or stutter while swiping between screens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok-google.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-564\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-564\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok-google.jpg\" alt=\"Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok google\" width=\"782\" height=\"440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok-google.jpg 782w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok-google-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.paisawapas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Moto-360-2nd-gen-ok-google-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 782px) 100vw, 782px\" \/><\/a>The voice recognition seemed to do an <em><strong>Okay\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>job but to be honest all the wearable devices face this issue in loud outdoor environments.<br \/>\nFor fitness enthusiasts the watch is able to track step counts and calories burnt with the help of Google Fit.<\/p>\n<h2>Final Thoughts?<\/h2>\n<p>Overall\u00a0I&#8217;m pretty pumped about the\u00a0SmartWatch.
